"I recommend this trainer, one because he has patience!! Having a Siberian Husky requires a lot of patience and consistency, due to them having a mind of their own. He repeatedly has shown me many things I've needed help with. Thanks to him, my pup even passed his CGC."

—Nancy Velasquez

What Your Dog Will be Able to Do

After completing this program, here's real results look:

Walk without pulling

Loose-leash walking on busy sidewalks, around other dogs, and in new environments.

Reliable recall

Come when called — even when there are distractions competing for their attention.

Sit, down, stay — for real

Hold cues until released, at distance, with duration. Not just in the living room.

Calm greetings

No more jumping on guests, lunging at other dogs, or losing their mind at the door.

A note on results — please read this

These outcomes are real, and they're achievable. But training doesn't end when your dog goes home or your session ends. Everything we build together only sticks if you show up consistently between sessions — practicing cues, reinforcing boundaries, and following the plan we give you.

Dogs don't maintain skills on their own. The pet parents who get the best results are the ones who do the work at home. If you're ready to be that owner, we're ready to help. If you're looking for a magic fix that requires nothing from you, this isn't the right program.

About your trainer

I'm Luke, and I've been working with dogs for over a decade — the last six of those professionally as a trainer. I train out of Richardson and work with dogs across the DFW area. This isn't just a job for me: I know what it means to have a dog who genuinely listens to you, and I know how to help you build that relationship with your own dog.

I bring a balanced, practical approach to every session — no gimmicks, no one-size-fits-all scripts. Just clear communication, consistent structure, and real results.

"Where do I begin? Without cowboy & co, Oakley and I wouldn’t be where we are today. If you want someone who actually listens to you, and hears you. Luke is your person. Not only did he help me when I felt like I was failing raising Oakley, and training her, he lifted me up and helped me understand why I felt the way I did. If I needed to change a correction he showed me, if he didn’t like how I was doing something he corrected it."

Common questions

How long does the program take?

Most basic obedience programs wrap up in 4–6 weeks. Advanced work typically runs 8–12 weeks depending on your dog and how consistently you're practicing at home between sessions.

Do you train in-home or at a facility?

I offer private sessions, group classes (for existing clients), and board & train options. Many clients start with private sessions and add group work as their dog progresses. I serve Richardson and the surrounding areas of DFW.

My dog is older — is it too late for obedience training?

It's NEVER too late! Adult dogs can absolutely learn new behaviors — sometimes faster than puppies because they have better focus. Age is rarely the issue; consistency is.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on the type of program and your dog's needs. Most programs start at $1,200, but I'll give you a complete quote after your free consultation — no surprises.

What do I need to commit to as the owner?

Quite a bit, honestly. You'll need to practice daily, follow the structure we set up, and stay consistent with rules at home. Dogs don't generalize automatically — the work you do between sessions makes training stick. I'll teach you exactly what to do, but you have to do it.
